Free Screening of “Trabaho” UP Film Center

We are certain many have not seen “Trabaho” directed by Ned Trespeces, Official Entry to the Cinemanila 2005, starring Ping Medina, Marc Misa, Sanriel Ajero, Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, Aya Lee, Monique Valera although it was screened in October last year for two weeks in a handful of Manila cinemas courtesy of Cinemanila 2005. We are extending to all who wish to see it an invitation to come watch it this August 3, 2006, 5 pm at the UP Film Center Videotheque in Diliman. Admission is entirely free. So to those students and others who have been requesting to study, appreciate or see “Trabaho” and what working is like for some people, let’s meet there. We can’t promise there will be another screening or when the copies will be out, because true to the independent creative spirit, we relish such opportunities to reach out to people in such venues (much is our gratitude to the UP Film Center). To those who want to know how to make films on a shoestring budget, come so you can ask us. For the wonderful people who made the movie, let’s have a reunion and celebrate your recent successes together.
